You need to always save your original pm so you can ss proof that you did send the original message in any case of a dispute. (it also works as a perfect 3 day timer since jsp displays how long ago youve sent saved messages)

Without that, the other person can simply claim you didnt pm them, and thus the challenge was invalid.


However, based on case's last seen info (maybe refreshes jsp once per day / last post always multiple days behind), if i were moderating this like i use to on the 1v1 ladders id probably allow the dodge and simply deal with him after if he complained since you did post ahead of time saying he hadnt responded. (And this is a reoccurring theme with this user iirc.)

However, im not a moderator of this ladder / dont want to be, so someone who actually cares about this little community should step up and start taking control/making these calls. Im guessing within a month i wont have any time to even get on d2, less the fact of playing actively on a ladder, so something will have to change or else this ladder will end up like every other one, which would actually be sad given it's long life and history.

Thanks for the info - I just started D2 for the first time a few months ago so i'm learning as I go.

I have a lot of time on my hands and while I may not be the best at svs I do enjoy the community and would be more than happy to step up and help out with modding if needed.

I nulled the challenge because of this.

"If a defender or challenger does not state whether they're calling for a dodge or extension, the challenge will be nulled"

While you did mention that case was not responding, you did no state that he was dodging you.

I'm not a moderator but it seems like people only update the ladder when it benefits them and I am just following the rules. I am more than happy to be a moderator as I do care about this community.
