Well I know what resists and absorb is, but maybe I wasn't clear on my question. I do think I know what the rule is, but the examples made me second guess myself, because Dwarf is 15% absorb, not 20% (the example is implying that Dwarf is 20% absorb).


I think being hit hard and losing mana on a Bliz would be fine? That's exactly why I think a weak ES would be fine. Tele is very cheap, you'll ALWAYS be able to Tele out, you recover the necessary mana for it in a fraction of a second. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like it should be fine. And I'm sure Bliz can't be more than 40ish mana, right, so my offense can keep up, too. And slowly, I'll regen enough mana to reduce another incoming hit again!

That's my thought, anyway. Maybe it'll collapse lol. But I might try it out soon.


Anyway, yeah I'll probably sign up asap, jump right in. I'm not confident to win a lot at the start, but I'm comfortable losing a lot, lol. That just means I have to figure out what my lesson is!

And yes its may worth a try but for exemple.... i play svs and sva on same sorc so i just token her....and other day i forgot to rejoint b4 dueling i had my es top of my head and fr i took 1hit endend 0mana like 0 0 so other dude just stomped me i couldnt do shit...like my tel prob ask for 20mana? But i couldnt since my opp def saw i wasnt moving so he took the opening and i was dead right when it started. But sure man its def worth a try and if u can make it work and be viable u def can setup ur sorc how u like as long as u respect the rules u do w/e u want

Haha, yeah, I'm prepared to duel once or twice and decide this ES idea is a bust, lol. That's fine if so.


Dwarf with 80 res leaves you taking 14% damage, while 85% res leaves you taking 15% damage. I'll probably opt for the 85 res path, since that's just one item. The difference between taking 15% dmg versus 14% damage, the 14 route is taking only ~6.7% less damage than the 15 route, but for a second item slot sacrificed.
