Not fair to deny someone points that they could’ve potentially earned from a duel they were denied.

i understand that and was gonna do that if 1-2 people canceled out, but half the group did..
and if they all get +30 4x.. they will have way more pts than anybody on grp a besides urkel

A finite number of people should advance from each group and the groups are exclusive to one another, points from one group should have no effect on the other group. The only thing it would do is make the scoring system misleading for one group but that doesn’t really matter considering everyone who had a match with the person(s) who forfeited got the same amount of points..

What mejors plan was before was to carry the points from the first brackets over to the finals bracket and continue adding to those points but with almost everyone in b dropping that would put all of them way ahead of us. Like I said the points for finals bracket should start from 0 once the bracket is established there is no other way to make that work out reasonably.

I was was assuming the final stage would not be continued as round robin. Generally you would have two groups, with X participants advancing from each and the points from group stage establishing seeds and nothing else. From there you go regular tournament format as single or double elimination.
