Cold sorcs are easy to stack res against causing their damage to be reduced greatly. So for SvS, not viable unless you are Gemmd and know the art of ice blast.

Light sorcs are good SvS but the unreliable damage output is what always causes defeat even when you have really outplayed your opponent.
