Whats good res vs blizz again.
Or what would you most basic way to go about setups vs cold.

Looking to rejoin once I gather my items back up.

I'd say you want Gris helm with 2x thul, snow clash and 2x raven frost with 37x20/11 cold, also wear a 30 res maras or rare with 30+ CR and get some nice 08 boots with 30+ CR

cheaper setup would be (assuming 200fcr)

wizzy with cold stack jewel (100+)
vmagi (65)
rings (60-80)
trangs (30)
boots with cr (30-40) preferably gspurs
spirit (35)
anni + torch (40)
scs (50)
circ (40-65)
amulet with res if you need it

all my for trade sorcs have been sold to Oxbow.

450 is max

There's no limit on cold res if you aren't using a raven, but more than 450 is redundent anyways unless there's a blizzer running a max damage setup with lots of facets

I've discussed this with moderators before and they agree 450 is max. Also achieving anything over 450 would only really be possible with more than 1 item at 65+ res ( assuming a 200fcr Sorc) which would be considered bm anyways

450 was always max resist for cold

gives a cold sorc an opportunity to stack enough - resist to negate 450 and do some more damage while taking a loss on other stats n such



there is no limit on how many 65+ resist items you use. Thats an old rule.
