Tbh I don't blame Corey for doing what he did after a certain someone was taking it to a lvl it didn't need to go to. I understand the frustration people were/are having with not being ready but really it's Ik not like you're trying to hunt down the godliest of gears. Imho should have a lvl'd character when signing up for something like this in the first place (this seems to truly be the only thing holding this tournament up). I honestly feel bad for Corey and don't blame him. I've had to deal with this sort of shit before and it sux (especially when it's your first attempt at hosting a tournament). I guess the fg amount is what was really all the fuss was about? 10k+fg for IK (which is nuts in the first place) is a lot for any tournament, and I assume that is why everyone is so upset? I'm more interested in having some fun idgaf about fg. I don't know about the rest of you... We are trying to keep the ball bouncing for other events to come. One point that has been made is a lot of people have lvl'd barb's already that don't want to switch gears back and forth on a daily basis for when other events start (such as BoE) and cannot afford to buy a lvl'd account or have another character lvl'd. Another point that was made was that BoE was posted with the start date of September 1st before IK. I personally didn't see the problem with starting IK early to get it done before the start of BoE. I thought it would bring in more if started sooner, I didn't realize that 50% or more of the participants didn't have lvl'd barbs... I feel somewhat responsible for what has happened and for that I say I'm sry. However I still don't see why the first round can't be completed within a 2 week time frame.
I hope all the differences can be set aside and we can all have some fun with this IK tournament like I'm sure Corey intended in the first place. Also I would really like Corey to be apart of this aside his fg donation because he put the time in to start this. Corey didn't need to get slammed the way he did and that is why were are where we are now. I honestly think I would have done the same thing, but still hope he is a part of this!
