Challenge rule amendment proposition:

A. You have to wait 12 hours regardless, before you are allowed to challenge your next opponent. (current rule)

B. If you win, you can challenge ahead (no need to wait 12 hours) but ONLY 1 rank up (not 2).

C. If you win, you can challenge ahead (no need to wait 12 hours). (BeSh's suggestion)


2 for A
1 for B
2 for C

IN MY OPINION, Obviously C is the right choice -_- if you're on a full day and u want to do mass duels this will let u do so.
Anyways vote and w/e u peeps decide I will abide by.

Vouch this tbh, not to bash anyone else, but with my schedule all my dueling goes into one-two days a week lol

BeSh Rule #2 doesn't mean you can only challenge 1 up, it means that if you want to challenge someone else immediately you had to have just won a challenge against someone 1 rank above you. You can challenge either 1 up, or 2 up at that point, but if you want to challenge someone ELSE immediately after you win the challenge you place after you win against the person 1 rank above you, you have to challenge the next rank up.
Back to the situations:
You were 10th, and just won a challenge against the person in the 9th spot. Going by rule #2 you can immediately challenge EITHER #8 OR #7. The difference is, if you challenge #8, after you win you can immediately challenge #7. If you challenge #7 you have to wait 12 hours after winning to allow #8 the chance to challenge you.
Rule #2 is not banning challenging 2 people up, it's just saying that if you want back-to-back-to-back duels, you have to keep your challenges to 1 rank up.

Ladders have always been you can challenge up to two spots ahead of you, unless they are already in a challenge.

Idk. I'm trying to give him a way to challenge as many people in a day he wants (barring the fact that they are already in a challenge) and everyone seems to be QQing about my compromise :rolleyes:

/e Most challenges last 12+ hours anyway.. I don't see why this is a problem, no1 is ever on when you want to duel them.

<Challenging>

1) You are allowed to challenge up to 2 ranks above you until you get to #3 then you must duel #2, then #1.
2) You must PM the other party about the challenge FIRST then post challenge in this topic.
3) Challenge will be best 2/3 sets. The winner of each set will be the first to six. You must win each set by atleast 2 duels.
4) All GM Melee Rules apply (as can be viewed in post #106 of this thread)
5) If you issued the Challenge you must wait 12 hours after it's completion to issue another Challenge.
6) If you lose a Challenge you must wait 48 Hours to re-challenge the same person.
7) 3-Day Dodge Rule (Afk, no-reply, no-show = auto-loss) 2 consecutive "dodges" = removed from Ladder.
8) If you cannot complete your Challenge on time it is your responsibility to PM your Challenger to inform them.
Once you've informed them, post in this Topic and ask for an extension. If you fail to do this Dodge Rule will be enforced.
