we are all in our late 20s early 30s (apart from shawns weird ass idk he must live in a 3rd world country to be playing such an old game at such a young age of 22) so we are all mature enough to take trash talk and shit talk with a grain of salt and still be willing to learn things. the majority of this sub has dueled so much at such a high level of play that they really don't care about losing because if they do they learn from it and improve. you on the otherhand seem to want to make excuses and/or still pat yourself on the back or claim a participation trophy of some kind after a loss rather than learn from it. you kid yourself by calling a ft5 close when close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades, and assume you are on the same playing field with players who are far beyond you to the point where you can't even understand or fathom just how much better than you they are. losing to a vita nec on a hyb ww sin for example, all you could say back to that was that after winning 1-0 trap vs hdin he s/ed and you claimed a 5-0 in your head, rather than realizing sin has advantage over hdin very heavily so it's not the same as losing to a vita nec on hyb sin where hyb sin has advantage. which is why i am strongly suggesting maybe you play outside of your comfort zone by trying the builds of other ppl in this sub who clearly have more experience dueling at this level of play than you do.
i bet you that if you just give trying their chars out a shot for a month, and lower your pride and ego issues, and stop thinking of shit in terms of "ive played this game for 20 yrs there is nothing else i can learn" you will see improvement in your dueling capabilities and an increase in knowledge of game mechanics, and at that point you will realize that most of the ppl in this thread were being honest with you and trying to help you understand and learn. it may not be the nicest sub forum in the world to outsiders but you have to admit you didn't exactly come here with an open mind at first, you just showed up to "defend" yourself.
Yeah laser beat me v/t vs hybrid, but I beat him HvH... Kappa straight wrecked me, but Mugs only beat me by 2 rounds. I don't gloat about losing, I tell it how it's... Not conceited, you just seem to believe what you want to believe without knowing. I don't think many of you can joke or take a joke, lots of epride and hurt feelings here... people who dont wanna duel cause they are scared to lose... has nothing todo with learning. IF people werent pricks id be more than happy to hear them out... I could completely wreck a Hybrid/trap with a Hammerdin, do it all the time... so no sure what you mean by that? I find it harder to beat necs on my Hybrid versus beating hammerdins with a trap but maybe thats just me. I also 3-5 his nec on hdin where hdin doesnt have as much as an advantage... I didn't 5-0 him in my head, I 1-0 and he left the match, thats disqualification aka 5-0, maybe being a 2013 youve never heard of that before? But that's how it works lol same with going to town mid duel, counts as a round loss. I played Necro all day today and it was honestly easier than i thought, picked it up in a day feel like I can master it in no time... No problem doing FPK like I said before I just prefer using pallys and whatnot over FPK, I find most FPK's boring l8z tryhard duels. I know theres a ton I can learn from this game still, and I will, but I don't think I'll learn much from people like you who imo I'm probably on par with in terms of pvp. The way you condescend to me and act like a all wise one tells me you're the one with a big ego and pride issues... I got posted on, only reason im here... I could give a shit what anyone else thinks or says at this point. Maybe you're just so used to FPK you don't realize the skill required to play Hybrid, HvH, V/T's and the like because they honestly do take skill. FPK is NOT the end all.
Believe what you want and call me a noob... I've beaten you many times in pvp so why should you be condescending my pvp abilities? IF you want me to be a nice guy and learn then be a nice guy and try to teach me... don't try to inform me of all of my "misscomings." and try to insult me... like that approach has EVER worked in any situation. Mugs actually went about this pretty good... Even though he believes im a liar, and doesnt like me, he is willing to teach me and and put shit in the past without condescending and talking shit. You could learn something about social skills from him
