having played vs two l8z es fbers, would like to know if there are rules regarding excessively defensive playing - super unfun and that one guy quit the ladder over it already lol.

There are no rules vs it, you just gotta be 200 fcr and get good stomps. Vin and Max were the only es fbs I could not catch back in the day, 110 tals is just not quick enough or have the dmg/life to do it unfortunately :(. If played right es fb vs vita fb is a very hard match up.
