Rugzy can still challenge, imo. If he isn't able to duel within the timeframe allotted, then the challenged will be voided, if I understand correctly. Rugzy should still be able to attempt to move up the ladder.

Another question though, do all challenges have to be accepted? I will be afk for ten+ days in July. If I am challenged, I will not be able to duel. Any thoughts on this?

im not saying he can't challenge but its rather pointless for him, he's working and trying to move in to a house, I've seen him active on d2 like 2 times in the last month and a bit?

Just make a post about it then it can be worked around IMO. I think you shouldn't be punished if you are out for an extended period of time. I'll talk with Tony about it

there shouldn't be a punishment rule for the lower ranked barb, and in the event of moving or work or something viable nor should the higher ranked barb, but if the higher ranked barb is active ALL the time and doesn't responde to challenge his spot should be forefit to the challenger. THATS my opinion atleast.

is there a time restraint before you can rechallange the exact same person for the exact same position?

like. if i place 14 challenges place 12 and loses. then they shouldnt be able to challenge 12 again right after.

if there isnt already there should be a 1 day time restraint to give the defender/winner time to make their own challenge. or be challenged by someone else.
