well i thought the argument was that torches kills a druid's spirit and lags interuptible attacks. exile isnt a problem since its not used vs druids

tap in ffa should be argued and i already tried with a few in pn and it was auto shut down when i said exile out of ffa's cause i cant guarentee this but i really do believe that tap has some kind of "diminishing" effect where if you cast it, it works like a champ if someone else casts it, it doesnt really work for you... I tried using necros to cast tap for tap duels and my dmg output would slam zealers but my life gain was 20-30 life at best when dealing 2k life...

Was it "denied"?

One council member (Steve) said he recommends that people get a new torch if they can.

Another (Louy) said he doesn't feel that it makes THAT much of a difference, but did not deny the possibility of switching over in the future. He said enforcing it at this point would be a bad idea.

Two other council members have had no input.

And last council member (you Jess)... not really sure where you stand.

Not exactly sure how decisions are actually made concerning the rules here, but regarding the input from council members, it would appear that the Torch move was not exactly rejected, but recommended without penalty for not doing so.

Perhaps this will still make some of our druid friends happy.

I will make sure to use new torches only (and have already switched over on my barb).

lol, gotta love the depth of the thought.

I just feel that simply saying it was "denied" without anything else completely ignores the actual input and responses from the two council members who made intelligent responses regarding the issue.

I feel my summary of the issue was sufficient.

Thanks!

It would be a good idea for everyone to get new torches however it wouldn't be fair to punish those who cannot do so.

Nothing's more annoying than the game crashing due to torches lol. And yes the little puppies have their sage die as well.
