BVB RULES (FROM D2GM):- Do not prebuff.
- Do not precast.
- Do not use poison.
- Do not use slow.
- Do not enchant.
- Do not use healing pots.
- Do not run.
- Do not tmc.
- Do not use temporary armor or weapons. (Do not use ethereal gear that is not repairable or indestructible.)
- You must have enough strength to pick up your body without switching gear.
- If chilling armor casts from fort it can be used for that one duel. The next duel the player must either rejoin or be killed. This way chilling armor wont be precasted for the next duel.
- Duels are first to 7. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WIN BY 2.* You are expected to know these rules before participating on the ladder.
- Failing to abide by the rules will bring actions against you depending on the severity and times of offense.
- It can be required that both show gear before a duel if one feels the other may be using ethereal non-repairable gear.
Challenges:- When challenging on the ladder, challenge one or two spots up the ladder. Make sure to post all information for both participants and send a personal message to the player you challenged at the time of the post.
**The winner MUST post the results of the duel.**
-The winner of the challenge may advance immediately, You do not have to wait for the ladder to be updated, we can figure this out.
-The loser must wait a full 12 hours before challenging on and 24 hours before challenging the same person. This ensures time for participants below you a chance to move up the ladder (especially around the top).
Inactivity / The Dodge Rule / Null Rule:- After a challenge has been posted, it WILL stay open on the forum for 3 days. If the defending user does not accept the challenge, or the match does not take place within3 days of the initial post, the challenger will automatically win the match due to the "dodge rule." All dodges will be marked with a "
*" this for admins to keep track of dodges (will be removed after completing a duel)
- Extensions may be granted in the form of 12, 24, or 48 hours. Please post and pm and admin to receive an extension.
- A duel may be awarded a Null and Void status for any reason if it extends over the 72 hour mark. This may occur if neither member has been active on jsp or in BVB game within the proposed challenge time frame.
-*The challenger must PM the person defending for the "dodge rule" to be in effect. Do not try to go around this, you will be removed from the ladder!
-If you last seen status exceeds 14 days, you will automatically be removed from this ladder, even if you haven't been challenged.
-If you have 2 consecutive dodges, you will automatically be removed from this ladder.
-If you are going on vacation or something similar where you will knowingly be absent a few days, please pm an admin for approval of your situation. It is respectful to not challenge someone who is on vacation status, skip around them.
Gear Change Rule:-You CANNOT change your gear in the middle of a duel, only before or after the duel. This means you cannot say "one sec" go to town and change your gear. Win or lose that individual duel and then visit your stash. You cannot disrupt a duel in progress without forfeiting that round.

You have the right to see your opponents gear and inventory in game per request. Once a gear check is initiated, neither of you may visit your stash or way point until it is complete.
***Screen Shots can be requested at any time of gear, inventory, and screen to make sure there is no pre-buff items, the use of tmc, or other illegal performance enhancing hacks - If pre-buff gear is found, or a form of hacking, you will be kicked out***
-If hacks are suspected, request the player to type .unload and SS their message log.
-Screen shots MUST be time stamped and be uploaded to this thread and displayed in public.
Re-Spec Rule:-You may Token your barb while on the ladder and remain in your current ladder position.
You may not use a token during a duel (7set). This is the same as a gear change.
Courtesy Rule:- It is your responsibility to keep the admins up to date on the status of your duel by posting here (Win/Lose/Null/Dodge/Request Extension).
- If you are experiencing trouble meeting up with a challenge, please pm an admin and inform them (if we don't know that you have worked something out with...Arthos to duel in 4 days, we are going to invoke dodge/null rules).
- In the case that you own more than 1 barb on the ladder (max of 2), You are unable to challenge yourself, You are still allowed to challenge up to 2 ranks above you. (example: you own barbs #10 and #8, #10 must challenge #9 to progress around your other barb #8)
