Im proving you it works.
Dont click and hold only..you will not hit opponent in many cases especially stronger opponent.
But try different intervals of clicking and moving mouse in player upd down or ledt right or circling when holding attack on him. So you will break his attacks.
It has to do with position of your hero, range and time between zeal attacks end. You must get griff and experience to make it bit this can break oppoenents attacks for sure and you can get better attack rating or deadly strike trigering if you click new attack than only holding your first one to the end especially when you see that you are stacked and dont hitting anything.
When you missclick and get out of direct line its ofc bad,
but you will Reduel/Rematch. It needs practice in this.
But this will never happen when you practice it in free duels so you will know how to do it.
But click and hold is worst strategy in this duel.
Really you need reclicking your attack when you see your first one holded has not any effect and you are not hitting opponent.

I made so many duels and i know how it works and how i won those duels. Else i will not write it.
You cant click hold..its not working so good in many cases and so with clicking different times you are trigering different deadly strike also different attack rating applies in each attack.
Im sure my friend ^MrStyle can confirm that its not click hold but you hit better in many cases when you click more often on the enemy in many cases you can easy feel it from the duel stage also when you holding attack you can move the mouse in small "circles" on the opponent or moving it to sides with carefully to not walk away from direct line.
If i really have to explain this in this topic can be said is sad. If you really just click hold for years in zeal vs zeal. Hehh..funny.
This principe also working very well on my Jabzon when im attacking.. dont hold first attack to the end but watch your enemy you feel the duel and Re-click when you know the right time..
