Rick, if you lost, relinquish your spot. If his friend was sneaking in manas when it was a no-mana duel is a d/qable offense, was this the case? Were no manas agreed upon prior to the duel? Were manas assumed to be given out during the duel? This answer determines a lot.

I really don't think you should win 1st spot of a world ladder through d/q because of l8z, duel styles are duel styles simple as that. But hey its your ladder...
