I didn't realize there were so many randoms who don't know who ziecheik is
he had the kicksin named Venom on d2pk back in the day
probably the only guy to ever make a kicksin viable.
good to see you back buddy.
ayy thanks.
Yeah I took a 10+ year break, so I guess not many people remember the old days.
Venom was a physical damage wwsin btw, actually probably the most copied char on d2pk back then, someone told me at one point 1/3 of all server donations came from people asking for a clone.
I did have a kicksin on d2pk but was mostly known for kicksin on east.
I have to say it's nice being back.
overall the average skill of duelers has gone up, meta has evolved quite a bit, community isn't as large as it used to be but quality of players is nice.
been dueling in DFC, great gm community imho
on a side note
I did bomb in this tournament, but I think I didnt have my head in the game proper cause I was way more focused on trying to record the full event. >.>
maybe next time I can have a better showing to spread the gospel of kicksin again

Bad Manor
I was kinda wondering about this.
some people say all es sorcs cant use mana pots
other people say es > 85% can't use mana pots
others say no one checks anyways chug away
and then some rules allow it as gm
personally I think it's alright for sorcs to regain mana via pots.
es can still be broken stacking a lot of damage at once, and the classes I play don't have much an issue with it. But I know this isn't the case for all classes, and some people find it very cheap.
would be nice to hear more input from other players and sorcs.
this tournament used a combination of regular useast rules and some dfc rules thrown in there.
with a lot of the rules being voted on by the community before the tournament.
I do like that dfc is questioning the rules and trying different things to see how it actually plays out.
gm rules have been stagnant for 15 years but the meta has evolved quite a bit.
I think its a good idea that these guys are trying out different rulesets and see how players actually perform in practice not just theory.
there are some rule clauses in dfc I don't fully agree with, but it opens up a conversation about them when people try stuff out.
