U can still and should be offensive with hammer.
Oak is ur meat shield.
Its was a 50/50 duel before, now nec is buffed. But once hammerdin read the nec well enough hammerdin had the advantage. And necs no longer desync.
Hammerdin will be way harder vs druid now due to all the summons lol. And the fact that smite dont stun properly anymore. So when u smite them out of their zoo meatshield they wont be as stunned and also you cannot stun them further with foh after..
A hybrid or 3hybrid zon will (if physical damage javs) kill that zoo in 1 fury. And the plague will be devasting as well as a 3hybrid who barely can be interupted at all, meaning he can freely use cs true hurricane/random nado and summon hits gonna be devasting as well.
A fully decked 3hybrid amazon was inzane on d2lod. Now its buffed, but do not have bug belt and as good diadem and fcr ammu etc, so it will be aboutly as strong or stronger as a perfect 3hyrbid was on eu nl in d2lod with bug belt+sop+inzane rares/craft. My zon used either 20 or 28% dr depending on if he had regular enigma or eni of bone. Now they have 8/43% dr depending on which side(bow/jav). I also had 70% block and 0fbr.
So yes, a properly decked 3hybrid will be inzane, and a osama/hybrid build will have sick bow dmg.
Necro will ofc be inzane as well, but the lack of desync, and the struggle vs es sorc will continue.
Druid is awsome as well, but i never liked to play ele dru.. Dno, think its a bit boring playstyle. And now it will be even more boring due to more summoning of minions.
So picking any of those and you should stand strong. The reason why a 3hybrid ama is so great is the arsenal of skills which lets you turn the duel in your favour, but there will ofc be less kb and stun effects for him as well, which was a big part of his gameplay meanwhile plague did its part.
Myself i will one day build a werewolf hybrid, which will be my first d2r duel char. I have started a little. For me with the increased ar, the increased attack speed i think it will stand decent. It wont be as good as the one i had in d2lod, but its advantage will be that it recks with fury even as a 1 hander, in d2lod it was 90% rabies abuse when 1 handed. And it Will require less perfection of gear tp reach a usable ar ammount, i will miss my 165frw with 135of them beeing desynced ^^ even though i was a tele wolf, those frw was very important...
