We also have 1v1 in mind however it's still long way to go to adapt our 1v1 rules in to D2R standard. Probably we will need to wait for patch 2.4 before we dig in to the balancing process.
In other hand DCL was always been more teamwork oriented, strategical type of format and our rules really shine for 3v3 and 4v4 games.

Same issues at MLD to be honest.

I think many of our old members will be happy to team up with newcomers to help with adapting in to league rules.
I believe that there are many formidable PvP players playing in GM or MLD format and they just need few basic tips to enter and shine in our league as well.

I'm a Zon player so if that help you, I can show your my TvT Zon on stream and explain the item setups I use for certain match up.

Regarding mana and mana pots banned. You need to stack mana in your setups as well. If you go with your no mana GM character, you will run out of mana instantly.
Most of caster characters use life/mana sc's and stack both life and mana in their circlet/amu/rings.
Remember that your paladin teammates can always provide you with meditation aura ;-)

The idea of Clan League is:
Join the clan or form one -> create your team -> train with them -> demolish other team and claim fame and respect

Some of interesting team comp. for 2v2 in current meta are: Blizz + Trap Sin, Blizz + Ele Dru, Ama + Ham, Ama + Nec, FB + Barb, Foh + Barb, Foh + FB, Nec + Ele Dru, Smiter + Barb, Ele Dru + Trap Sin

I remermber using sciacco and soj on my old euro-pvp Zon.
Also can't spam mindlessly multishot here, so better use skill points on other skills and shoot GA

The rules are chosen so that the game is not chaotic and the end result is not something random.

Anyway, as always, everyone signs up the day before the event starts and gl for all members

DCL buddies they usually wait for last moment to register. We had 14 teams in our last 2v2 tour and 10 teams in 3v3 so I expect that we will have around 16 teams for initial tournament and start of the ladder.
I will try to encourage buddies to form team with newcomers instead of their typical teammates
