A well built zealot can take half ur life in 1 hit it's based on chance/luck if the zeal actually hits or not


1. Get lucky
2. Well built Grief zealot may be able to out smite poorly made smiters
3. Any good smiter vs a good zealot will win 24/25 times no contest.

An Ft5 is needed to win... therefore a Smiter will win every single time.



also a smiter will just stun lock you and eat your hp away before you can get a full zeal off

You're best bet is to not rely on gear. Go Grief of Doom, dsynch and try to get a lucky zeal in. If you land a hit, finish the duel up with smite. Get this combo down and you'll probs wreck any of those garbage RaNgEr dins I see nowadays.

yeah it's possible for a zeal to beat a smite.

I agree with your 24/25 ratio though.

Simply put hitting 100% of the time vs 0% chance to block > hitting >100% of the time with >0% chance to block

smite>zeal
