Never ever used 25% torch but it’s not a game changer.. I dunno about melee but it’s an evidence that if you don’t ban certain items it’s unbalanced or at least boring..

Well if you like to just swich chars or items to counter your oponent instead of banning certain items to make it skill based then go for it

That’s what I do and other can’t so they ban full class items like a basic tgods from charsi.

Pub games are created for it. But ofc in GM pvp or tournaments some items are banned just because they ruin the fun. Trust me good players don’t need to abuse items to kill you

If you would like a tournament where nothing is forbidden then try to set one up and see by yourself how fun it is
