You can't predict where is the shield when he wws to you from distance which makes ur attack less effective or no effect at all choosing the right angle.
I am fully against str bug chars unless we talk about tournaments without using shields, where its fine.

exactly made rule for any possible gear swaps changes drama.
Just build your char choose the gear you use in the duel and make ft 5 easy. Everyone can ask to show gear anytime and im sure and much hope every players play in good manners as we made many tours before.
