Also I play as often as I can. I’m no hermit. You are missing the point entirely. Expected more from someone who has played as long as you. And also has a melee character. Who has cannot be frozen on at all times. Cuz why the fuck would you wanna be frozen.

I understand your perspective. My rebuttal is that you and Garen and the other barbs have been invited to the Discord multiple times.

I invited you to this Discord on Discord. Which means I know you have Discord and just don't want to join the server that hosts the community you are actively dueling in. I personally don't understand the reasoning for this, as it leads to situations like this where there are decisions being made and you are purposefully excluding yourself from having a voice in those decisions. Meanwhile, Garen told us that he is too "casual" of a player to join discord, and I'm not going to get into this because I don't think he is just a "casual" gamer.

My other rebuttal is that I've heard that some of the bvb players that are adamantly against the cold unban are just as inactive as Tier is.

While it's been acknowledged that many bvb players aren't in the discord to vote, it's because they're refusing to come in, not because they are being excluded on purpose.

You cannot initiate a vote on jsp, we tried this before with a different gm melee matter and the vote was sabotaged because anyone who has the link can vote. Discord is the most effective and convenient place to settle these matters - you can control who votes and who doesnt (this is why Discord is the most actively used platform for gaming communities).






Adding: to my knowledge, there is one BVB player who has a cold damage weapon & its on ladder so it cannot be used yet. I know of no others who are trying to sell or planning to sell barb weapons with cold damage on it.

I don’t have a cold damage fools bud. I just use fools when people using rare wep duels. I also have 2 melee rings. Etc etc. relying on cold damage to win? lol
I don’t have the top barb gear. Or anything specific to use besides ravenfrost or 1x 3-9 cold dmg sc. a lot of people realize the ban was just so you can throw a 40/15 in your stormshield and call it a day. It was voted in to ban cold damage when .. omg your whirlwind got slow! and the patch was so new people didn’t want to change a single thing on their barb. I’m just letting the guys who are too shy to join a gaming community know: That it was in fact voted to be a GM rule for ranking systems and tournaments. And stop crying about something so easy to counter if you have half a brain.

I don't think I missed the point. Adding more variety to the bvb build is fine. But as soon as you allow cold dmg, ppl are forced to use cbf which will limit options for bvb build.

I do also have a melee character but don't treat the melee and the bvb same.

ranking systems and tournaments have nothing to do with the pub barb vs barb game. didnt u say when u make the pub game that cold is allowed? so youre beinging that rule from discord and your friends to a pub game that doesnt play or speak with u guys. makes alot of sense to me man

Someone new to bvb is interested, they check out the gm ladder rules, join the discord, get hyped on cool rare wep duels. Spend their last fg on a fools wep and raven and jump into barb vs barb to test. The barb vs barb pub gang is gonna bm them with a doom wep and be pissy about some cold damage that is super easy to counter?

You guys don’t use Eth fort in a pub game because it’s bm. By a ruleset. You don’t use cold damage because it was decided to be BM.
