Here is my two cents on this and why I voted no on the subject.

The ability to duel two spots ahead of you is to give the challengers the ability to advance in ranks, if you lose a challenge a player should not be penalized for losing. It's bad enough that they lost but now with the 12 hour rule you have taken away my ability to advance and put me at risk to loose my rank if someone below me challenges me before I can challenge someone ahead of me. If Braum won his challenge he would probably challenge someone else anyways in the same fashion he did with millerhighlife. I see this rule as a crutch for example, lets say I am number 4 and lost to number 2, I now have to wait 12 hours from challenging number 3 to advance my rank and I just got challenged by number 5. I lost to number 5 now I lost my rank and I can't challenge anyone else that is 24 hours I couldn't challenge anyone to advance my rank, I am now number 5 and number 6 just challenged number 4 because I couldn't challenge the guy now I am stuck, That is not fair to a competitor. If the cycle repeats and I continue to lose I won't ever be able to challenge anyone else. That is my fear with this rule, people could get stuck because of it the objective of ladders is to get to number 1

Nah Steve. Because if there isn't any rule like that, the person who loses and posts a rechallenge immediately will completely stall the ladder. You're seeing this from an individual point of view. It's not about one person it's about the whole ladder.
If u lose you lose, you get challenged and lose well then too bad! It happens. At least you get duels done. Think about those waiting under you for a chance to move up, it's not fair. How can u even argue that it is?!

You had your shot, time to let the others get their shot. In my time I put it 24 hours. 12 hours is nothing. But I mean it is what it is, and if it works for everyone I don't mind.

Well ofc I am seeing it through an individuals eyes lol I don't care about those under me!!! but I get what your saying either way it is what it is, I just duel! I'm also really old fashion so if its not broken why fix it type of shit.

That's the thing.. It is broken. Before I had that rule in place.. Refer to previous post.. Somewhere along the lines, when we all quit, someone changed it... So to me I didn't say anything because no one complained..

Challenging (Read this before you issue any challenge):

1) You are allowed to challenge up to 2 ranks above you.
2) You must PM the other party about the challenge.
3) Challenge will be first to 7.
4) The winner of the challenge is allowed to challenge immediately after winning.
5) If you lose a Challenge you must wait 24 Hours to re-challenge the same person.
6) 3-Day Dodge Rule (Afk, no-reply, no-show = auto-loss) 2 consecutive "dodges" = removed from Ladder. Post in this thread if you need an extension (of 48 hours max).
7) It is your responsibility to keep the admins up to date on the status of your duel by posting here (Win/Lose/Null/Dodge/Request Extension).
8) If you are experiencing trouble meeting up with a challenge, please pm an admin and inform them (if we don't know that you have worked something out with...Arthos to duel in 4 days, we are going to invoke dodge/null rules).
