let's assume 7.5% cb chance (average roll)
yes, the missile cb damage is half of melee's (5% vs 10%)
let's assume when we hit opponent, their health will be around 1000 or 1100 on average (let's calculate assuming 1050)
then in this patch, average number of hits to kill opponent is probably around 5 or 6 so let's say 5.5
with all these numbers, we can expect an average cb roll to provide an average of around 22 hp worth of damage per duel. if we go up to 10%cb on a nice pair of gloves, we're looking at around 29 or 30 life per duel.
blood gloves also provide 10-20 life roll. vampirebone base provides a lot of def with low str req.
overall, we can see the cb + life rolls as being roughly equivalent to a tier-1 affix like 15 str or 15 dex.
these days, knockback is extremely underwhelming. when it does proc (rarely, for some reason), char moves across the screen a few inches with zero consequence.
jesus, chad. those vamps would be worth 200k in the melee community if they had 20ias instead of rep.
