the point being changes to your character is a restart, you cant show me one spot where somebody was on a ladder, remade the char with a new name somewhere, and was given their spot back on ladder unless they were literally in last place
I was giving you examples that are bm that we can't "100% enforce" vrs things where your druids name is NIGGADIX but then all the sudden ur duelin on a druid named "BLM" and nobody gives a fuck
it isnt done, your talking out of your ass
I use to do it all the time when I ran the 1v1 ladders, so long as i trusted the user that there would be no major changes / changes were discussed. This was the best way to deal with people having unlimitted access to tokens, or so level there chars on the side. Obviously unenforceable/very hard to see if someone tries to sneak changes in (the gerbil incident in particular happened when i was running it. Guy exposed himself by ssing skill trees iirc...) It simply easier to allow it and use a trust based honor system in the case imo. I had lots of people who would ask about minor stat or utility skill changes which should be acceptable (so long as your not changing every duel to gain slight advantages ~~)
If you want an example of when this was allowed on a ladder, the most recent i can think of was biwinning switching back to his lvl 99 nec after leveling it on the nec vs nec ladder.
