Rather than putting Stories on Vacation status, I went ahead and removed him from the ladder for the time being. Simply because he will have to sign back up/start from the bottom anyway since he's changed from fire to light.
I sent him a pm to let him know. If anyone has a problem with this, or if I am wrong in doing this, please let me know and I will make the necessary changes.
