It's really hard to find rare diadem which will overcome 120/45 so if you consider SB/DB build you can socket 3/30frw with 2x40/15 + ber or 40/9dex.
I had in legacy diadem 2ama/30frw/7ml/22str/12pr which I believe was still worse than 120/45.
For Forti build I'm thinking more about Faith MB + Gaze (40/15ias).

While running the simulation of my Zon on D2Planner I have:
Gaze (ber) + 160/60 + GMB -> 15.5k DPS for GA, 43dr bow side
Gaze (40/15) + Forti + MB -> 15.4k DPS for GA, 33dr bow side, +30resist (can get rid of lr sc's) + CA + around 40life + 5max lr

i don't think the calculator takes OW proc into consideration. it's hard to estimate the average amount of OW damage per duel and i'd imagine data collection would be tedious, so i made several assumptions when comparing various builds. i think it's at least somewhat accurate to assume OW probably procs somewhere in the range of 1-2x per duel on average, depending on how tanky the players are and their style. i think in ranked ft5 with 22 rep and 2130 hp, i can probably tank around 7-8 arrow hits on average. if we assume half of these hits are when the enemy has swordback out, and there's a 50% chance to proc, i'd guess the average number of OW procs per duel is maybe closer to 1.5-2x, but this is based primarily on intuition rather than data. with ~300 pure damage per ranged OW proc, it'd take 3600 physical damage (*6 for pvp damage ratio, assuming 50% damage reduction) to match one OW proc. i believe the only way to mitigate OW damage once it procs is life replenish or reach 1hp, which further complicates things but at least we have some rough conceptualization/estimation.

i think a truly optimized zva stash would have gmb, fort, 120-45, nos coil, 160-60, tgods, lots of rare+unique rings w/o str (or lots of tokens), shadow bow, diamond bow, dungos, lots of 3-11 scs, titans, rare eth+rep javs, dracs, swordback, stormshield, maybe a few different OW belts, poison length reduction gears, cat's eye, highlords, even lidless eye. it's kinda nuts.

yeah some pvp groups have considered banning dracs on zon cuz strafe and multi against druid pets heals your char insanely fast. between tap, lifesteal and + life after each kill, it's insane.

ow belt + gore rider is pretty insane against es sorcs, from what i've heard. i think some groups have OW capped at 50% so i guess it'd be bm to use swordback alongside the belt+boots, but i guess it depends on which rules your community adheres to. i've only done a few hours of zva in d2r but i see people talking about it all the time. watching toeshank sing beautifully on stream rn.

edit: forgot dracs gives OW, too. yeah, it's pretty gg.
