It doesn't matter how you get to 399 res in YOUR case because you are reaching a CAP. With people that do not use Ravenfrost, they can stack as much cold res as they want. In that case, using 2 cold stack items would be BM.


In summary,

No Raven: You are allowed to use multiple stack items to get to 399 cold res or below.
Raven: You may only use one cold stack item.

If you allowed multiple cold stack items for someone not using a raven, you could theoretically get to such high res that the tanking abilities of fire vs cold would differ severely. Ask dlee if you don't believe me.

thats alot different cuz u could easily stack 700 res like it was easy and tank all day
