nope, its you and me vs the world ok. im perfectly happy where I am. my only goal right now is to familiarise myself (and get better in d2r).

If anyone has PTR I would be interested to know more about the Avoid changes.

I am assuming you are free to do any action once the initial animation triggers instead of sitting the full duration.

I tested it myself

So - if you are "dodge locked" in 2.4 the animation plays the sound - you can still act through it (attacking)

if you are "avoid locked" in 2.4 the animation plays the sound and there is no visible impact when attacking or standing still vs projectiles. Sometimes there is a slight animation play but it's barely noticed.

TLDR : dodge/evade/avoid do not interrupt animations at all and do not disable you in any apparent way shape or form. If you are running, you don't even see the evade animation even though it literally only trigger while you move, and it appears that you can take any action out of dodge/evade/avoid without having to finish the animation, so its basically the same as an idle animation now
