Yeah this is one of this situations that makes cross region so difficult.

My original idea was FT3 on each region. Seems you guys did FT4 on each region.

The only real way to settle it is like another FT3 on each region. But let me get everyones input. Then again... that is alot of dueling and I know everyone is older and doesn't have enough time.

TBH a FT1 on asia might be the only truly **FAIR** way to do this lol but that is such a meme.

as a reference (on asia now - my ping is 175) what is EU ping on asia? One thing that can also help these situations is having the cross region player create the game on the other region.

200. Now the ping on Asia is quite low because it's like 7-8am there :-)

But I also fine with the idea that challenger need to win and defender just need to tie.

It sucks but thats probably the only equal footing we will find in making it fair for both players.

I will talk to the others and come up with a better system so this doesn't happen again (Or at least reduce the risk of this occuring).

The idea of challenger needs to win vs defender tie is a good idea as well. Let's just leave it as is for now and have a discussion on what we think is best.

I think ideal solution would be to do another ft3 on each region, with option to agree to ft1 or ft2 on each instead

I agree defender should only need tie, debating whether to waive the 48 hrs cooldown before re-challenge in these cases. Removing it would allow them to schedule the next ft3 whenever, in case they don't have time to duel more right away.

I think to limit the amount of duels required we should just implement defender only needs to tie. It makes the most logical sense. As you could in theory do another FT3 on both and end up in the same spot.

We could also yank the 24 hours after loss to challenge any user but keep the rule to challenge the same user.

Another ft3 on each region is basically the same like he successfully defend by tie and I challenge him again ^^

Basically after 1-3 / 3-1, total score is 4-4 and none of us reach 5 yet.
So maybe ft1 on each and if still tie, defender successfully defend the challenge.

Yeah then the issue arises that that user is locked out from advancing from his successful defend. That’s why I mention you could challenge a different user (depending if it was a one or two slot challenge) my issue with that is you could in theory just challenge someone over and over again and that’s not good for them either.

I also personally would not want to do 12 potential duels 🥺
