shaft itself is a great armor. paired up with dungos and a 120-45-30frw helm and its as good as 160-60. you lose 40life but stephen use to use it before this ladder. If you want to mix it up a bit you can use a Mat faith and pic a whole different helm. 2/30/stat/life i like have or something of your pick.

I'm currently using eglitched shaft + 120/45 30% frw
although I prefer the shako setup =p

btw, there's no difference between a regular shaft and the eth one

I'll surf around and see if i can find a good import circlet and try it out



Once i get a circlet ill just use a reg shaft and test out the shaft/circlet and shaft/shako vs the 160/60 setup and if i like it ill get a eth glitched shaft for style

shaft vs. 160/60/100 life

shaft causes -.20 yards/sec cause its a medium armor

so if your goal is 150frw or 180frw, you need to add an extra 20frw, if your goal is higher, it will probably be more than 20frw to make up the yards/sec

so if you compare shaft(40/15) + 120/45/30frw vs. 160/60/100 life + gaze(ber)

it breaks down to:

250def vs. missile, 20life(if using 3frw sc's, 0 if 5frw sc's) vs. 3damage reduced, hit indicator(7ml/7ll on gaze)

but also note that you can choose not to socket the gaze with a ber, and instead socket it in your shield which will cost u 5dr with bow out, but you can add a 40ed/9dex jewel, or 30ed/9dex/3life rep/30light res jewel(best imo)

Wasn't the frw penalty 5% of your total frw speed?
so it would be like 10% frw if you are at 200%, and 7,5% if you're at 150%

thats what manduki's guide says, but i found a site that i trust more on that issue

just used another calc (on my profile)
9.43 200% frw, light armor
9.00 150% frw light armor
9.23 200% frw medium armor
8.8 150% frw medium armor

9.23 = 175% frw with no armor
8.8 = 131% frw with no armor

(first number is yds/sec run speed)

so yeah, if your at 150% then it's like 20% frw less, 25% if your around 200%

SHITTY, imo.

well ofc btals is best, it makes up for its frw loss, gives u 2 skills, dr, res

best zvz armor imo

only thing is u can only get 40dr with bow out, using gmb, but thats what i use now anyways, well actually 39dr with bow out, 47 shield
