whats a better BVB Barb weapon Grief BA or 279% EDC? an inquiring mind wants to know.

barbs dont benefit from the ds from edc becuase they alrdy have crit from mastery, and greif has incredible avg dmg

thats exactly right, in patch 1.10 barbs double damage effect was nerfed in any double damage effect. it was revised to mastery based critical strike only (highlords, gores, etc... don't work on axe mastery based barbs according to the patch) in 1.13. I was asking because of the EDC's -33% target def and other mods are of a benefit.

greif has -25 def iirc

I know that grief is -25%, reason I ask is I have a 279% EDC on a mule and don't have a use for it ATM. It was Barb's axe Mastery that was nerfed in 1.10, this is why I use a sword.
