no I just know this cause besh knows what he's doing, nothing against blazen don't know him. and glad to see ya on the lad finally, guessing you got your 40/400 15/3 cb?
and happy to see anyone join the lad.. was sick of everyone saying it was going dead
ah .. yeah .. he does know what he's doing for sure ..
but i mean as far as gear goes .. and gear countering .. both cody and i got that covered ..
i chose to use what i was using vs besh because i chose style
but yeah .. our tons of experience in melee means that gear options are quickly learned and countering should come fairly natural since the same principles are involved in melee ..
imho .. i think the ww technique is a bit over rated .. granted i still am quite noobish at it .. but i need to practice some .. at least in pvm or something ..
the thing is .. it reminds me of people griping that they were angled in a melee duel ..
this is only possible if the players are not using identical weapon ranges ..
however .. if both players are using say zerkers .. then the angle doesn't matter since both players hold the weapons on same side of body .. the angle is the same for both players ..
the angle is always the same for both players .. but only with differences in weapon range can an angling advantage take place ..
however .. since almost all ww barbs use either 2 handed sword or zerkers .. angling is impossible ..
therefore .. when you approach your opponent (using same range weapon as you) and both are in ww .. then there can be no trickery involved in terms of trying to "catch" them at a good angle or w/e ..
because as long as both players are in the process of a ww .. then both players enter each others hit space at the same time .. since the point of approach by the opponent .. no matter what side of the body of the defendant .. is a frontal hit box orientation .. so frontal hit box orientations for both players ..
HOWEVER .. there is something else that is new to me and that i definitely need to work on ..
apparently .. while angle of approach is not important so long as both players are using same range weapons .. timing is .. from what i understand can be more complex than i thought ..
this is due .. from what i gather .. to the 4th and 8th frame "free hit" checks ..
which is the basis behind doing short distance ww's so as to start the ww over asap and get back to the free 4th and 8th frame free hit checks ..
this is the origin behind the triangular pattern as well .. which is the most efficient pattern it seems ..
....
time to practice
....
edit:
yeah i got my cb grief ty for asking
perfect in all respects except only -20 psn instead of -25 ..
took forever to find it ..
the only p one i found was apparently on some guys merc .. tho i dont know for sure since he didnt pm me back about it ..
