Well that's how we've always done it... Also byracki you're wrong on two huge points:
1) venom is destructive.. Or else we would allow It like cold dmg is allowed... Combined with open wounds it destroys your hp... Ww sins only use open wounds and venom...

2) when you say he died from the physical hit you're wrong.. You cannot know for sure...There's so many factors to consider... Fire from torch and venom and the open wound (that will run your life to 1)..life replenish...

Also keep in mind you can win a duel with 1 life...
In my humble opinion its a clear redo unless both parties agree that there was a clear winner (for example you had 4k+ life and he was at 100 life or less)

By the way . My rules were updated in April 2010
Venom was considered..

Since the day I joined in like June 2009, I have never seen a rule that said 'redo no matter what'

So a long time later when I updated the rules to include things that got left out originally, I wrote in there what everyone ALREADY DID which was ask if the person wanted to continue.

Everyone restarted if it was tap. The vast majority continued if it was venom, unless they were way way behind.

So I wrote the rule as:
'stop and redo unless other agrees to continue'
this was also designed so when the casting hit was also the killing hit, the duel was still done and didn't need RE-done.

Since my rules + common sense are to hard for so many tiny brains to follow and understand... PLEASE someone enlighten me and update the rules that I have kept updated constantly since 2/27/11

I can see what you wrote on 4-4-10 in your personal blog

- If venom casts from grief you have to redo the duel unless the other person agrees to finish the duel.

Again, he was dead. Kinda hard to stop and ask if he wants to continue when that hit had already killed him.

edit: it still doesnt say 'redo no matter what'

Eh...

in the 5-600 pages of 1.12 bvb ladder i mod//ref'd venom was always redo. No matter what.

Fact of the matter is this is WW BvB... And i understand wirlwind sometimes with low mana, or in close range will proc/throw melee attacks, but, if from thoes rare accidents you decided venom was okay, a player could try to abuse this, and keep trying to get procs.

-- for that reason venom should be redo. And tbh if you can see a barb who's losing the duel, and then trys to proc venom as a way to avoid the loss, just have a mod come watch, and have them removed if they keep it up. But idk i've never seen this case. :X

unless the other person agrees to finish the duel

This is exactly what it says.

Let's interpret the law. You have to redo the duel but you must not redo it. Fine.

However there's a condition after the have to. It says UNLESS the other person agrees to finish the duel. So basically the only condition stated is UNLESS the other person agrees.

The duel will always be redone unless the other person agrees... Should I repeat it one more time? I think I know this shit more than anyone here... Since I wrote it and I am actually a lawyer...
There is no other way you can interpret that rule man.

Also when you have ZERO person agreeing with you... It's time to cut your losses and stop arguing.
