Some controversy has arisen about what happens when 'bad things" cast during a duel. (such as life tap and venom)
Besh's original rules did not say anything about what to do in the event of lifetap or venom, so I wrote them in at a future date saying:
"- If venom casts from grief or life tap from dracs, you have to stop and redo the duel unless the other person agrees to finish the duel. Both say 'go' again and continue."
In ggnore88 vs byracki: byracki struck ggnore88 with a close range namelock (making it a melee hit instead of whirl), casting venom and firestorm. ggnore88 was hit while in mid-whirl, turned green and spun away through the fire, stopped, died.
Does this constitute a redo of the duel? I said no, it was a kill, he was already dead before his whirl stopped. It was the last hit, dead before he stopped.
ggnore88 in a screenshot said the venom drained him from 900 to 1 hp.
1) if u want venom calcs, it is 20 dmg after res and pvp penalty. There is no way it was 900 damage, not even with the fire would it reach 900.
2) I've warned you before, watch your mouth in a gm game. There is NO REASON to be name calling, such calling me dumbfuck.
As of now the score of 4-5 in the first set stands cuz I cannot fathom anyone else besides ggnore88 and dalinkwent thinking that someone dieing from one melee hit, one venom hit, and one firestorm ALL AT ONCE counts as a duel redo.
If it was at beginning or in the middle of a duel, sure. Makes sense.
Would it be fair to redo if he had full life and I had 1 HP? omg venom! redo QQ. Of course not. He would clearly be the winner cuz I was so far behind, it is full vs empty, a redo is not acceptable in that situation.
Pming this message to other admins, I am tired of ggnore88 literally saying I am a bm admin, when I duel gm all the time.
