It doesn't work like that...please read the rules...

When a challenge is issued you have 48 hours to complete it. If by the end of that 48 hours you are unable to, you ask for an extension, that gives you another 48 hours to finish it. If by then it's still not done, either a dodge is handed out or it's cancelled, depending on the situation...
