So i followed your link, and clicked make a double elim tournement, and this is what it gave me.

If you are just looking to make errol the winner regardless of logic you are doing a great job.

I dont see why its so difficult for you to comprehend it was an option under the double elimination bracket. perhaps it was the incorrect bracket in your opinion but its an option on challonge which is the site/format every d2 tourney uses. I dont see why your so angry with me and not challonge.

So you expect me to give tonice the win based on the rules of previous double elim tourneys and dismiss the rules of this current double elim tourney?

If that were the case I wouldn't of voted in tonices favor for a 3rd set, I would've just called erroll the winner since he actually did win with the current double elim bracket, which may have been the correct call anyway.

Look I misread how the bracket was setup because there is two options and never realized this until the end of it when Bryan pm'd me asking who won.

If I had of read the bracket correctly we wouldn't even be discussing this to begin with , I would have said gds after the first 2 matches and we be done nothing more said.
John thought we were finished as well but I misread and we continued a marathon match anyways , I put Bryan in a tight spot because of my mistake thinking it was setup like our last one 2 years ago.

Bryan made the call for us to have another set to settle the mixup on my part , in the end we did ft6 six times (4-2) and it was a coin toss to say the least with us being so evenly matched.
So I apologize for my mistake it was not my intention , the bracket was setup for a single ft6 best of 2/3 matches in the finals to begin with.

tonice won. all tourneys have this rule

winner's side finalist only has to win one set.
loser's side finalist has to beat the winner's side finalist twice. first win by loser's side brings winner's finalist on even footing. and whoever wins that is the tourny winner.

every single fighting game tournament follows this rule.
