Some people been using it to avoid "anya glitch". Anya glitch is a glitch not intended but due to a fail in battle.net. Make your char good enough to handle that resistance loss. If it ticks you enough go qq to battle.net and see how long it takes before they care lol. While there make a complain about the various other issues and post the link here so we can all go support your claim. (long shot, but everything helps) Just trying to be optimistic.
