let's say #3 challenges #1 and #3 won, #3 takes #1's spot but #2 stays where he is and #1 will move to #3.

shoulda said you won your challenge, not "defended spot" cuz that wouldnt make sense. I think that's why it was missed.

"defended spot" means you defended your spot from a challenge.
