Was considering joining until I seen that unperm items are allowed. The whole point on a GM ladder is to keep things 100% legit. Weird rules.

^I said the same thing, if you cant afford perm items and be 100% legit you clearly shouldn't be allowed to purchase unperm items just to play vs players who can afford it but what ever not my rules

yeah its a wish washy matter, but in the end, youre just here to have fun. so who cares?

It gets competitive, and just like how you work for a high level, you work for good items. Allowing unperms does help fill the ladder, but it goes against the values of legit dueling. Im sure everyone that is participating here has accepted this rule though.

I was a part of BvB ladders in my early JSP years. And was used to the rules then. I was excited to rejoin now, but was disappointed after finding out. That's the only reason I felt the need to share my opinion lol.

the point of allowing unperms is to even things up so EVERYONE can play equally and let your skill do the talking, not your checkbook

Edit: The statement "so EVERYONE can play equally and let your skill do the talking, not your checkbook" extends one step farther into the matter of hybrid runewords. In this case hey are LEGIT items, but their advantage is so NUTS HIGH that allowing a 9k fg axe such as grief of doom would seperate the ladder into rich people vs poor people. And that is wrong.
