It makes the loser vulnerable to class adv duels. Someone​ can go drop 4+ spots and never have a chance to challenge up. If I were to lose and it put me within reach of dueling a ghost I would immediately want to challenge so as to avoid an obvious loss. Doesn't mean the ghost cant challenge up just means he wouldn't be able to challenge me

It can go either way. Regardless, give a shot before you shoot it down. Most of us work and can't baby sit the thread. If it becomes something awful then it can be repealed. Honestly at the rate people duel on here that is a small amount of time to wait

In this example for simplicity
Name/position
Z97 1
Biwinning 2
Wedgies 3
Me 4

Ok that same argument, in this example biwinning wins, makes his post and challenges up. Wedgies makes a post before biwinning even posts he wins, giving me no ability to challenge up. im now forced to sit with the possibility of a challenge disadvantage and now in the same position. Win your duel and you won't have to worry about declining? I've lost my last 3 duels, don't see me complaining about this rule because it makes sense.

Agreed, plus it gives you more incentive to actually win ^

The rule should be challenge can't be made until results of duel are posted. And the no rechallenge rule eliminates the issue of the same person locking someone up
