IMO allow fort and watch z vs z explode again. Yes duel might take longer but this has never been an issue in west :) way more builds = way more fun.

lol , easts playstyle wouldn't go well with fort IMO haha

Would be cool but probably shouldn't happen. Too late in d2 for everyone to change.

Slow won't be allowed even if fort is allowed. I'm cool with fort being allowed though lol. I just think east has a rather defensive playstyle and fort encourages jab rushing because of chilling armor proc. idk

true, but jab rushing is still effective even without fort

It is , but it takes spacing and most east zons don't even c/t l0l

Honestly I love fort more but i doubt it will get changed

This is what I had drafted up before for a fort league.



Here my latest swing at it.








ZvZ Rules
- Fortitude armors are allowed (Chilling armor must be reset each duel).
- No non-amazon skills (Enchant, BO, Teleport, Werebear, etc).
- No cube in inventory.
- No chance to cast % curses/skills (Exceptions include: torch, fort, default spawn mods from crafts).
- No slow target (Nosferatu's Coil is Banned).
- Regular throw is allowed.
- No elemental skills or scs (fury/bolt)
- Multi is allowed but don't abuse it, see the What's BM exactly? section below.
- Inventory checks can be requested at anytime during a duel.
- Maximum Replenish Life is 22.
- Only one piece of open wounds gear allowed.
- Slow missiles is banned.
- Do not leave blood moor.
- Do not target your opponent until "g's"
- Do not use mercs.
- Change sides on map every duel if agreed upon.
- You are not allowed to cross the bridge if a bridge is present.
- Circling around walls/Constantly staying near a corner/house etc, isn't GM. See the What's BM exactly? section below
- Halting the duel to buy more arrows is allowed if agreed upon.
- Duels take place in Nightmare, map must be cleaned before the match starts.


What's BM exactly?

"The Multi Rule 3 volley rule" - You may not shoot more than 3 multi without taking a different offensive action (jab/ga/throw).
"Circling around walls & houses" - They may be used for what they are, breif obstructions that can break a NL trail of guided arrows.
You may not use as a wall between you and your opponent. Circling around these objects is abuse! Break the NL and move on.
"Constantly staying near a corner/house" - You may not camp a corner spot and spam in an area with only one way in/out for extended period of time ( ex: hallway with bridge)
I am in no way saying you can't defend yourself if you are cornered, just you may not barricade yourself within 3 walls and shoot 350 arrows at only entrance point for an entire duel.


Ladder Rules
- Duels are first to 5, one set. You do not have to win by 2.
- When challenging on the ladder, challenge one or two spots up the ladder. Make sure to post all information for both participants and send a personal message to the player you challenged ASAP.
- If you lost the match, will have to wait for 24h before challenging anyone (this way lower ranks will have an opportunity to challenge you).
- Screen Shots can be requested at any time, of inventory and screen to make sure there is no pre-buff items, or the use of tmc, or other illegal performance enhancing hacks - If pre-buff gear is found, or a form of hacking, you will be kicked out.
- You can Re-challenge a user 2 days after the first match.


Inactivity / The Dodge Rule
- After a challenge has been posted, it will stay open on the forum for 4 days. If the defending user does not accept the challenge, or the match does not take place within 4 days of the initial post, the challenger will automatically win the match due to the "dodge rule." (exceptions to this rule can be judged by the staff)
*The challenger must PM the person defending for the "dodge rule" to be in effect. Do not try to go around this, you will be removed from the ladder.*

maybe up the life rep to 30? since fort has base life rep and ppl gonna b doing alot more dmg now. id probly use a fort of chains anyways but still..
one piece of open wounds gear ? disagree. if ppl wanna stack ow they should be able to
no fury or bolt :o maybe i could live with that

the shitty thing about fort really is the chilling armor. ppl gonna leave/return every time they proc it

i think enigma should be allowed. i dont think many ppl would use it but id be interested to see how it performs in zvz
