you can't just mess with a few numbers or add in delays to a few skills. As long as mind blast can put a 10 second stun debuff on enemy players from any range to reduce their FHR threshold to 0 damage, well then everything goes nutty with it. Just teleporting on top of people with shadow master and spamming fireblast does it. The kinds of changes it would take to actually balance it- maybe allowing movement during FHR animation, putting a 15 frame FHR grace timer like blocking has, making mind blast unreliable and shorter duration, etc etc- even if you could fix the mind blast bug, you'd change the balance of PvP a whole ton.
Mind Blast doesn’t reduce the damage threshold to 0, it reduces it to 1 (as in any form of damage). They actually added a 4 frame WoF nextdelay specifically for the reason of mitigating (albeit it not enough) WoF’s effective stun capabilities, if the threshold were 0 then the next delay would’ve been pointless as WoF doesn’t actually have enough damage to warrant a next delay for mitigating damage output. Fireblast is also a Trap so the suggested 12.5 frame next delay would cover that as well.
Worth noting that the suggested next delay hampers LS damage output fairly severely (although the class as a whole would arguably still be very good) and doesn’t solve stun capabilities in team duels. Stun acceptance (swirly) duration being nerfed would help but adding some kind of internal cool down to the effect of stun as a whole would probably be a better option. Either way, if WSG isn’t hotfixed back it’s going to be quite different.
