Actually I dont think it does say that loool

as long as the skillset and statpoint allocation (except when you level) does not change, you don't have to start from bottom. if you upgrade a piece of equipment, you don't have to start from bottom.

when you changed names, you did not have to start from bottom of the ladder but since you directly requested so, thats what the update reflected. if you're not sure, you're more than welcome to ask before you do something.

there are some rules that do not apply to this ladder that are on page 1 in particular:

- Do not leave town once you die
- Do not cast anything or use any aura once you die (IE: Oak, Shadow, Golem, Mediation, etc)

are for 4v4's

- No remaking of character mid-tournament ( This includes tokening ) - If you token to maxblock or make char new name etc etc you will start at bottom of ladder.

is for tournaments.

and some rules have also been tweaked since start of ladder such as the 72 hour grace period.

Of course he's going to side with you. It's been a rule since day one if you change the character, you have to restart. Get off your power trip, asshole.
