it's just a variety killer 100%. everyone is going to migrate to the same build as ladder goes on and the duels are going to have so much variance.
i have tried literally every substitute and I can't beat it consistently. I get hit more than I hit and that's how you lose a melee duel lol.

I was fully on the side of banning prudence last season too. Then I remember the post's like this lol
