Yes, charge works good against nb chars (the majority); but v/t gives some advantages:

force the opponent to stack lr with just 1 point in conv, and 100-150 dmg per foh isn't low imo ^

Pally taps my Barb and recovers 1/4 total life in 1 hit.
Of the six duels I had against makethemsuffer, only one duel did he not have tap cast (he lost that duel).

Vs Barb, with tap a smiter is overpowered imo.
But I have to agree with marvel in that a smiter who relies soley in smite and has no tap is a pretty easy pk what with zerker axes out ranging smite.
