Who said this? This is an example of someone ABUSING the dodge rule. Makes me sick. I challenged Jeff twice, and the second challenge I didn't have the armor I wanted to test against him, and was spec'd for something silly, and guess what, I got my ass kicked 6-0 and 6-2...WHO CARES. The whole point of this Melee ladder is to have fun and to duel, it seems like everyone is pro at making excuses because they are afraid to lose.



I agree, we need to kick start this ladder, because frankly it's embarrassing the way things are now.








I would like some more clarification on this...what does that mean being remade? It has to be the same char, and waiting to get gear is no excuse, if you are around and are challenged, you need to accept it. If by being remade you have a different barb that's being leveled, that is not allowed. I have a 98 pally that I would like to switch to, but that's not possible, my only other option would be to lvl my pally that is in the ladder already.





I agree 100%...something is going to have to change.

as for the three day dodge rule, if its such a problem here, why not just make the dodge rule 48 hours?
24 hours would be a little drastic since not everyone can be on jsp or d2 every day.

also, in reference to switching chars, why not allow respecing/switching chars? and just whenever you respec or switch chars, move them to the bottom.
thats what we do on nl. now of course, youd really have to go on honesty here for it to be effective.

Respeccing is allowed, and of course you can switch chars, but yes you would be put to the bottom of the ladder, I meant simply you can not switch to a 98 pally because yours is only 97 and retain your position on ladder.

I also think 24 hours is extreme as well, we all have lives outside of this forum and game, but too many people are abusing the dodge rule, they are using it as an excuse to try and get better gear, rather than just not being available because of work or other non D2/JSP related issues.

Honesty is key essential I agree, and it's pretty shameful the way it has been so far.

this wasnt legit, killthor ref'd this and said we watched him angle me whole time , then killthor dueled mauricio and caught him angling , he even admited it.Not knockin mauricios gear but ive seen it and im pretty better gear yet i get owned this is CC vs CC , my 3900 life vs his 3500 , it was always strange and now i see why

this is why u duel on the water/bridge map, its ez to angle by accident if u dont

yea its rough because its really random, u coulkd have 100% mirrored chars and it can end up 6/3 or 7/7 lol
main thing is to just limit any disadvantages.
to be honest tho. even if i lost it just means u wait a little to reclaim ur spot..

AS for my point about the 24 hour dodge rule.
i ment it as a "im wanna get some gear" that should be 24 hours. if u dont have what u want by then, u either play on or forfiet.
i dont mind the 3 day dodge rule. but i would like an actuall reason.
for the record i didnt join any tournys till i got the gear i was after... EVEN THO. IT WAS A TAP BUILD (EXILE)
im fine for this. im out of gear to use lol for non tap, but as u do. YOU GET OVER IT AND THINK OF THE OTHER PERSON WAITING FOR YOU!
my main point for this would be
Do Not Join A Tournament IF YOU ARENT HAPPY WITH YOUR GEAR.
its not our fault u prematurely joined!!

You are thinking from your perspective. Think about it this way

I have gear for a new build. Im stuck in middle of respec with only 3/4 gear ?

nthx. Ill take a day - x2 to finish respec & get the gear i need quick.

3days is perfect for the person that has limited time or is caught in a respec.
