but overall Skill > gear

and knowledge of best build is important too

Vouch skill > gear
I don't think there is a best build though. I've seen dozens of bowa builds, and all are good for certain situations. And probably 5-6 pure gm zvz builds. None really stand out imo. I only use what I use because it's what I can afford.
All my "skill" comes from dueling the best.

btw, I lowered the 3 day re-challenge waiting for 2 days, to let the ladder more dynamic.
This way, both the winner and the loser will have time to challenge/be challenged by other user before re-doing the match (1day is too soon, and 3 days is a loong waiting).

Imo, this is not about sitting on a spot, we are here to zvz for fun

3day rule is fine tho, cause its usually only the #1 that gets constantly rechallenged

if 6 and 7 dueled, and #7 loses, then he can challenge 5 and work his way around if he's that impatient. but it is your ladder. just my 2 cents

Thinking about the #1. If we use the 3 day rule, plus the 4 days waiting for the duel, the first spot will duel like once in a week... imo, this won't add much action to the ladder.
If the first is the best, he will defend anyways
Our last NL ladder, had a 24h re-challenge rule, that way it was really annoying, but I think that 48h is a good delay.
if mostly people prefer to wait 72h, rules can be changed, no problem =)

good point about the 4 day dodge limit, 2 days is good i suppose
