I want to bvb, but I will make one specific barbarian for ffa and one as the most of you know already, for aow league.
I waste a lot of time and tokens to always switch my barbarian of one type to another. And often I do some mistake for the stats phase lol.
Aow and ffa are together in the context of bvb, but far from each other for the approach they have of the battlefield.
I will think about a text for underline these two approach, perhaps it may provide something which could lead the two part to understand each other. I feel like a huge gap between aow and ffa, I feel like the bad guy is the ffa from the aow side, and that perhaps the aow is also considered as "boring" and so has been from the other side. I even myself said that ffa was boring and I prefer aow, but I think it is more about the fact that I did not try hard enough to understand the way of battling of ffa. I remind some old discussion I had with a comrade which was used to use everything the game provided. I am talking about the open wounds, the potions and so on. From a certain point of view, it seems to be extremely impolite and bad mannered, but from an other one, it is like someone who thought about what the game offers and which devices the player could use for reach a victory. I am glad to participated to that tournament, I could like that met more ffa players in the bvb section, and see how the manage the way of duel with the items or devices that ffa offers. First of all, it was very hard for an old bvb to agree and to duel like them, I felt like I was fighting myself inside me, in other terms, I built some convictions it took me time, and in a short period of time, I simply destroy or ignore them. I think more about that I still have them and dive into a new way of doing things. To dive was necessary for get a deeper analysis of such subject.
Hum, its like two different culture, they can both collide and sometime get along and sometime not, but I think they can learn from each other.
Actually the aow type of duels are made by old bvbers and not a lot of newcomer do them. The FFA type is far more known, its like a kind of fashion. What about have a check for the ones in Fa in aow. Since during that tournament we came as old aow players for some in the ffa duels?
I think that both deserves respect, and it is not because the aow seems older that it deserves more respect than the other and also the same in the opposite way.
If you wonder why I am writing all of this, well I myself do not know, but it helps me in a way and do not ask me how
I just feel like there is a huge gap, and one part to another, the members doesn't appreciate the "culture" type of the aow or the ffa.
Yes I used the word culture, since there is also a culture of culture, but you can find too a culture, as a micro one. A culture is a kind of system with invariant inside, in other terms you have inside a structure which doesn't move so much which offers us to make a difference if we compare it to an another. Bahhh I am probably again going too far. But I like that fact that I never left that game and gathered data for years, it provides a very long study which requires a lot of energy. I slowly built that and now I try to use some of them.
Perhaps one day we may see tournament with cross culture battle, like aow vs ffa, and we can chose whatever we want to use. The ep-pvp league is kinda dead, but it was quiet nice to compare the different classes between them too.
Well anyway let's stay in the bvb type of tournament for the moment, it is already complicated enough alone.
