That is a mathmatical possibilty... whille it is a somewhat valid point to say the victor has LESS total kills, that is the exact point of FT5 x2
After 5 wins is reached, the scores for each set are reduced to 0-0 to start again with a clean slate.

Who is the obvious winner in this BvB duel that takes place here?

Byracki wins duel 1

Voro wins duel 5

Byracki wins duel 7: at this point... it is 5-2 Byracki. I win set #1

Byracki wins duel 5 = AT THIS POINT: the FT7 would be complete... with Byracki winning the ladder spot... but lets see what happens when we finish the ft5 x2?

at this point it is 5-2 Voro. He wins set #2

next set isn't a blow out in terms of life remaining... Voro Sneaks by with 100-200 life every duel for a 5-0 set victory

that makes set #3 5-0 VoRo

The FT5 x2 is the ONLY way to insure the best barb wins
anything else is unacceptable in my mind

It's nice you'e trying to support my case with a loss to me by those means. Though you are not calculating the stash visits that did or/may have happened during those sets or in between rounds. Score was KM-WesT vs iBvB; 5:3/5:2 (10/15/09) W. I'll gladly make a strictly Ft7 Ladder with an end date and Trophy if you guys cannont agree on a Set duel count, just LmK. I'm trying to help East NL BvB out so idk what's with the negative feedback tbh :blink:

The point im making is this one sentance:
the better barb doesnt always win the first 7 duels, thats why it has been ft5 x2 here

the example you used was when I was ap fort barb
in that case ft5 x2 or ft7 wouldnt have mattered cuz sa > ap

but in a more even fight say sa vs sa.... the ft5 is better

my vote is ft5 x2

and add me to the ladder
