Alright there has been a lot of confusion about cold sorcs and the gear that is allowed to be used against them... I'm going to be clarifying the rules shortly... I know that I was part of this mistake... but anyway it's time to clear it up...

Resistances and Absorb:
if your cold resist exceeds 400, you may not wear a ravenfrost...even if none of your gear includes a stack item.

Resistances and Absorb Exceptions:
Vs Cold Sorcs: If you use the allowed 1 stack item (normally wizspike) you may not use cold absorb or max resistances.

The mistake was that originally when I spoke with TJZRocKer about this a long while ago He clarified to me (and what I went with) that you are allowed to use a raven if your cold resist does not exceed 400... However in noticing duels and also comparitively via d2pk and d2items skill tree setup and going through a comprehensive test phase I've determined that this needed to be clarified and fixed...

So essentially This is how it goes In regards to vs cold...

1) If you have over 400 cold res with or without a stack resist item than you can not use any Sorb or Max Resist Gear...
2) If you have a Stack Item but do not obtain over400 cold resists than you still may not use any Sorb or Max Resist Gear...
3) If you have under 400 cold res and no Stack Resist Item than you can use Sorb or Max Resist Gear...
